MAPLE GROVE, MN - We have an immediate opening for a Senior
Environmental Scientist.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Primary responsibilities include leading state and
federal environmental review processes.
- Demonstrated experience with scoping, leading, preparing
and assembling Environmental Assessments; Environmental
Assessment Worksheets; Environmental Reports; and
Environmental Impact Statements for state and federal
projects is required.
- Ability to guide the public input processes associated
with the environmental review process.
- Must understand the federal environmental processes and
procedures including, but not limited to, Executive Orders,
Endangered Species Act, Economic and Environmental
Principles and Guidelines for Water, and Related Land
Resource Implementation Studies.
- Must be self-starter, with demonstrated credibility
within their respective profession.
Education and Experience:
- Technical competency within a scientific discipline is
required. These disciplines include limnology, aquatic
biology, terrestrial ecology, water quality, geology or a
related science discipline. Graduate degree preferred.
- 15 years demonstrated experience addressing
environmental issues associated with civil engineering and
water resource projects.
